Pastor Ed's last Sunday will be June 23rd. A farewell luncheon is planned for after the 11:00 service in the Family Life Center. Meat, drinks, & dessert will be furnished. We request that you bring a Casserole, Side Dish, or Salad prior to the service, to complete the meal.
And then...
on June 30th, we will celebrate the 4th of July and Welcome our new pastor - Rev. Keith Stewart, with an old fashioned Hot Dogs & all the Fixins - also in the Family Life Center, after this 11 o'clock service. We do hope you will plan now to attend both lunches.

Upcoming Event
KUMC KIDS Sports Camp
This is for ages 3-8 and happens June 24th-28th from 9AM until 12 Noon. They will be playing such things as flag football, Baseball, Soccer, & Basketball. Total cost is $60 which includes snack, drink, & t-shirt ($50 + $10 for t-shirt)
KUMC KIDS - Concoctions Camp
Looking further ahead, this is for children ages 3-10 and happens August 5th-8th in the Fellowship Hall from 9AM until 12 Noon. They will be making snacks, sidewalk chalk, bathtub paint, play dough, and many other MESSY concoctions. The total cost is $75.00 with $25.00 of this due at registration by July 31st. The cost of all supplies is included & it looks like LOADS of fun!
UMW Yard Sale
Start looking for the items you would be willing to part with to help this be a big success. Yard Salers look for items that you may have tucked away in a corner, but will never use again. We will accept children's clothing, but Goodwill does a better job with adult clothing.

Forecast
My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ – and friends: I thank you for these past seven years with you, for your love and support through much. May God, our loving Father, richly bless each of you and continue to mold each of us into His image (Romans 12:1-2). I shared with some earlier that I remembered that I had two operations and Cynthia had two since we have been here, not counting all her chemo. Stress came with these times but, yes, also with these past years in the church. I am thankful for all God has done in my life since I have been here and will do in the future and how He has used many of you in the process..
